Baana is the Hindi weaving term for the weft thread, the horizontal thread passed back and forth across the warp to build the fabric, row by row. Without the baana, there is no rug. This kilim is named for the very act that made it.

Flat-woven in a full spectrum of terracotta, blue, green, pink, yellow, and beige using the kilim technique, Baana is the most colourful kilim in the collection. Every colour is present, balanced, and placed with the quiet confidence of an artisan who has spent years learning how colours speak to each other on a loom. Fully reversible.
